CANCELLATION POLICY

Important Notice for International Customers
This English version is provided for convenience only. The German version is legally binding, and the contract language is German. Nothing in this Cancellation Policy shall deprive consumers of the protection afforded to them by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence, where applicable.

 

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, took possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us:

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement, for example by letter or email.

You may use the sample withdrawal form below for this purpose, but you are not required to do so.

To comply with the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs. This does not include additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days after the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days after the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract, to:

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this diminished value results from handling the goods in a way that was not necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Exclusion for Personalised Products

There is no right of withdrawal for contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for which the consumer’s individual selection or specification is decisive for their production, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

This exclusion applies exclusively to products that are actually personalised. For standard HATELOVE products featuring fixed designs created by HATELOVE, the statutory right of withdrawal applies.
